Turnips from the Garden
Just pulled this turnip from the garden. The bulb is about 3-4" across. I have a row 50' long of them that are ready to harvest.... just in time for Thanksgiving!

A Couple of Photos from the Homestead
This Bell Pepper plant still producing... (we use these to cook with. Straight from the garden to the stove). I'm especially happy with my Mandarin Satsuma (Tangerine). It's putting on a good show this year - not quite ripe yet. The grand-kids love coming over to pick straight off the tree.

God Knows What We're Made Of
"He knows our frame; He remebers that we are dust" (Psalms 103:14)"
God has no illusion about us. He knows we are created from the dust of the earth. That's pretty low stuff.
Yet, He loves us anyway, calls us to salvation, and wants to use us for His glory. How great is that?
He knows that He got no real benefit (added to Himself) when He saved us.
Don't ever entertain the idea that God doesn't love you just because He didn't do the lastest thing you asked of Him.
The fact that you are still vertical and breathing His free air, and your name is written down in the Book of Life, is all the proof you'll every need on the tender care of a loving God.
Praise God from Whom all blessing flow!
