What is spiritual maturity? Maturity is not measured on your words, but on your deeds. A maturing Christian does not really need to attend another Bible study as much as they need to apply what they already know. People tend to think that discipleship is “going deeper” in knowledge. How silly is that? Any educator can tell you that the highest form of learning is application. That's why we attempt to put Christian people to work by serving, volunteering, and leading.

If the so-called mature are not willing to serve, we don’t allow them to mentor anyone else or be in a position of influence. We don’t want bad DNA to be embedded into others.
