Sunday Brain Spill

  • Awesome day.

  • Attendance was very good – especially given the fact that it was graduation weekend (for local high schools) and officially kicks off family vacation time.

  • I have discovered that our congregation can take HARD PREACHING. Last Sunday was on Hell, and today was on the Great White Throne Judgment. I have received more favorable responses in the last two weeks than I have heard in a long time.

  • Apparently hard preaching works in more ways than one – our offering today was MORE than DOUBLE the normal!

  • The generosity of our church family is truly amazing!

  • To those who do not tithe: If you are robbing God of HIS TITHE, don’t be surprised if your finances end up in trouble. See Malachi 3:8-12.

  • Don’t forget the SUMMER SCHEDULE I mentioned this morning. Lots of things will be happening at PCC this summer.

  • Here’s a THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: In order for us to reach those people that other churches are not reaching, we must DO what no one else is doing.

  • I was uncomfortable preaching today’s message. But staying in my comfort zone is not always the right thing to do.

  • To the PCC family – sometimes YOU have to be nudged out of YOUR comfort zone too.

  • What other churches think of us is of little consequence to me.

  • It is great to belong to a church where God is moving in such a powerful way.

  • Renae had a meeting today (after church) with the TEEN TEAM working out the new summer schedule, planning for Youth Camp, etc. They’ve got some awesome events planned for this summer.

  • I'm going to do some serious running & weight lifting this week - I'm working on my bikini body.
