“…. I will manifest myself to him” (John 14:21).
Is God real to you, a living One near at hand? Or is He more like a picture on the wall, a motto, a doctrine, a theology, something wonderful to look at, but still in a frame?
Is Jesus in a picture frame – lovely and wonderful to think about – but He stays up there on the wall? Is He real to you?
In the above verse He said He would come out of the picture frame. Open your Bible and read the verse in its entirety. In it Jesus says those who obey Him prove their love by their obedience… and to THOSE PEOPLE He will come and manifest (reveal) Himself.
You trust and pray, but have you obeyed? When you do, He will come out of the picture frame and make Himself real.
